העמותה האירופאית למחקר איכותני בפסיכולוגיה The Center for Qualitative Psychology הוקמה בשנת 1999 במטרה לתת לפסיכולוגים ולאנשי חינוך מקום בו יוכלו להציג מחקרים המבוססים על המתודולוגיה האיכותנית, תוך קבלת תמיכה אקדמית ומשובים לקידום מחקרים שונים. חברי העמותה מארגנים כינוס בינלאומי אחת לשנה, בכל פעם במדינה אחרת באירופה. ד"ר היידי פלביאן, רכזת ההדרכה הפדגוגית במכללת אחוה, חברה בעמותה מאז 2005 , ויזמה את קיום המפגש השנה בישראל.
נושא המפגש הבינלאומי השנה הוא: "גישור בעזרת חינוך" "Bridging through education"
למפגש השנה הגיעו 14 חוקרים מחו"ל (מגרמניה, ספרד, רומניה, ארה"ב ודרום אפריקה) ו- 16 חוקרים מישראל.
המפגש כולל הרצאות של המשתתפים וסיורים ביפו העתיקה ובירושלים.
מן הראוי לציין כי למרות המצב הביטחוני, הכנס כולו התקיים במכללה האקדמית אחוה. מעבר לחוויה האקדמית, המשתתפים חוו גם את המציאות הישראלית בערב הפתיחה קיבלו המשתתפים הנחיות ירידה למקלט למקרה של הישמע אזעקה, ומספר דקות לאחר מכן אכן התבצעה יישום של הנלמד. כך גם היה למחרת. חשוב להדגיש, כי כל המשתתפים מחו"ל התנהגו כאילו מציאות זו אינה חדשה להם. עם הישמע האזעקה,הופסקו ההרצאות ובשלוה הלכו למקלטים. עם קבל אישור לחזור לכיתות, המשיכו את ההרצאות מאותה נקודה בה הפסיקו. כל הכבוד!
The Center for Qualitative Psychology
The Center for Qualitative Psychology (CQP) was founded in 1999 to further develop and enhance qualitative research methods in the psychological field. It is especially committed to supporting qualitative methods for socially committed research, built on the tradition of qualitative psychology starting since the 1950ies, such as the use of observation, introspection, and interviews.
The center provides qualitatively working psychologists the opportunity for networking, for enhancing their expertise in annual meetings, and for engagement in international co-operation. The center aims to uphold the German tradition of qualitative psychology as well as to engage in an active scholarly exchange with the international community of researchers in psychology.
The center was founded in October 1999 in the department of educational psychology at the University of T?bingen and promotes qualitative research methods in the field of psychology.
