    השכלה

    פרופ' איתן בן-דב, בעל תואר .Ph.D במיקרוביולוגיה מאוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב, מכהן כמרצה בכיר במחלקה למדעי החיים, במכללה האקדמית אחוה. פרופ' איתן בן-דב עובד כחוקר במעבדה לביוטכנולוגיה סביבתית, במכון לאומי לביוטכנולוגיה בנגב. 

    מחקר

    פרופ' איתן בן-דב חוקר בתחום של ביולוגיה מולקולארית של חיידקים ובאקולוגיה, שילוב שנחשב בחזית מדעי החיים. עבודות המחקר ופרסומיו עוסקים בתחומים כגון הדברה ביולוגית של מזיקים ע"י מיקרואורגניזמים רקומביננטיים, פיתוח שיטות מתקדמות לגידול חיידקים סביבתיים, שיטות מולקולאריות לזיהוי ומעקב אחרי חיידקים, מחלות מקרוביאליות של אלמוגים ועוד. תחומי התמחות: הדברה מיקרוביאלית של מזיקים של חרקים
