:My research focuses on three main areas
a. The relations between motivation and personal characteristics, and whether they predict differences in psychological, social and academic outcomes among learners and teachers
b. The relations between social media and psychological and educational outcome, and whether the educational environment (parents and teachers) can influence students use of social media
c. The relations between adolescence's risk behaviors and psychological and educational outcomes, and internal resilience factors, and how parental and school intervention can mitigate these adverse effects
