    בעבר חקרה ד"ר סבינה מערכות דינמיות מורכבות בטכניון, באוניברסיטת תל אביב, בטורינו שבאיטליה, בהוואי ובגרמניה וחקרה את נושאי פתרון בעיות ומתמטיקה יצירתית
