עליזה עמיר בעלת תואר .Ph.D בחינוך ובלשון עברית מאוניברסיטת בר-אילן. מרצה בכירה במכללה האקדמית אחוה. ראש המחלקה ללשון העברית, אחראית על ההכשרה הקלינית של המתמחים בהוראת שפה ראשונה ומרצה לפדגוגיה ודידקטיקה במחלקה לחינוך. חברה בוועדת המקצוע של הוראת העברית כשפה ראשונה במשרד החינוך. כמו כן הייתה יו"ר הוועדה של האוריינות הלשונית במסמך דמות הבוגר 2030. עוסקת שנים רבות בפיתוח מקצועי של מורים להוראת שפה ובהכשרת מורים.
מחקר
תחומי המחקר שלה: הכשרת מורים ופיתוח מקצועי של מורים לשפת אם ושילוב טכנולוגיה של מורים בהוראת שפת אם, בדגש על הוראת הכתיבה. במסגרת זו אחראית על כתיבה ופיתוח של סביבות לימוד דיגיטליות להוראת שפה ראשונה לבית הספר העל-יסודי. חומרי הלימוד מבוססים על מחקרים של ד"ר עמיר, ביניהם מחקרים על מחסום דיסציפלינרי בשילוב תקשוב בהוראת שפת אם ועל מגמות עדכניות בהוראת שפה ראשונה בכלל ובהוראת כתיבה בפרט. ד"ר עמיר פיתחה מודל הוליסטי לפיתוח מקצועי של מורים בתחום שילוב התקשוב בתחומי דעת. כמו כן היא ערכה מחקר מקיף בנושא אוריינות לשונית והכוונה עצמית ותבעה את המונח "חוסן אורייני". לכל המחקרים האקדמיים שלה יש השתמעויות יישומיות על הפיתוח מקצועי של מורים ועל הכשרת סטודנטים
